Beachin' it...well sort of

Ok so its not the beach, but the kids love it. We tried the beach thing, the day was too windy, within minutes of landing on the sandy shores of Cavendish Beach everyone was in tears, well ok not everyone, but honestly I felt like it. When we arrived back at the car Emily's eyes were pooled with tears laced with sand and her suncreen covered head had become a piece of tape for every morsel of sand on the beach. Poor little girl! As we were driving away, William made the comment that "the sand was much too snappy to play today!" He was right!

So now we don't even bother, we just head straight to the park, it is kid and baby friendly! Here are a couple of pics from our visit on Saturday.
